From Pedigree Gloucestershire Old Spots raised in high welfare, non-intensive conditions

You will need to order in advance to see what we have ready

Which you can purchase direct from us

They can be brought in Quarters, Half or Whole pig boxes

Delivery may also be sought for you if needed

We charge by the kilo which for a whole pig is £2.50 per kilo, dead weight plus £50- for the kill and cutting charges

Dead weight is the weight your pigs is when it gutted and hanging in the abattoir

When the pig is butchered you will loose the most of the bones as all our joints are boned and rolled, unless you request otherwise

So a whole pig at 60kg dead weight will cost £200-

Half pigs cost £2.65 per kg, so at 30kg will cost £104.5

Quarter Pigs cost £2.85 per kg, so at 15kg will cost £55.25

But obviously a pig dead weight will vary a little, as we do not weigh our pigs before they go in it is all done buy an experienced eye

We use an abattoir 15 minute drive away and a local butcher

We can also supply pigs for a hog roast at £2.50 per kg plus £20- kill cost

All meat boxes have joints, chops, belly slices, sausages mixed 4kg per pig

Our pigs are not organic but live out side, and are fed on a well balanced diet

We do not tail dock, clip there teeth, or nose ring our sows,

Do not wean our weaners to they are at least 8wks old

They are also wormed at weaning

Adopt A Pig

Why not adopt a pig  (makes an ideal present for those who can not own a pig)

You can come down look at our set up, look at some weaners and pick your own pig

Pay for the weaner come down on occasions to see how he or she is doing (by appointment)

Then four months later I will take the pig off and you get your pig back in a box ready to freeze

And you would have gained a little experience of handling and being with your own pigs

Meat weaners start at £45- each for males, total cost will be £200 for a 6mth old porker, paid in instalments or at the end (weaners paid for at 8wks of age)

End weight may vary all pigs are fed on 16% protein pig feed
